High Blood Pressure is Way Too Risky
High blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart disease and the chief risk factor for stroke. Even blood pressure slightly above normal increases your risk. High blood pressure is dangerous because it makes the heart work too hard, and the high force of the blood flow can harm arteries and organs such as the heart, kidneys, brain, and eyes. High blood pressure often has no warning signs or symptoms. High blood pressure is detected by taking blood pressure measurements with an inflatable cuff placed around the arm. This is a painless test which takes about 30 seconds and can be done by a doctor, nurse, medical technician, or anyone who has been properly trained.
High BP could be serious
High blood pressure is a serious disease because it often has no symptoms, so it goes undetected for years. Left uncontrolled, it can lead to stroke, heart attack, heart failure, or kidney failure. The number one reason children have high blood pressure is due to being overweight. Boys have a greater chance than girls. High blood pressure is called the silent killer because it usually has no symptoms.
High blood pressure could have other complications too!
While nobody knows exactly how high blood pressure is linked to erectile dysfunction, there are several theories that attempt to explain the process. While these theories may seem very different, they are actually all very closely related. High blood pressure is generally considered to be a blood pressure reading greater than or equal to 140 mm Hg (systolic) or greater than or equal to 90 mm Hg (diastolic). Blood pressure readings in the pre hypertension category (120-139 systolic or 80-89 diastolic) indicate an increased risk for developing hypertension.
